Donation Items we accept

Your donations help the planet by extending the life of thousands of products every day, reducing what ends up in our landfills and the demand for new products. You can drop off your gently used goods at any Mission Thrift Store drop-off centre.

Here are just some of the many donations we are happy to take at our Langley Store:

• Electronics – lamps, ovens, mixers, cables, adapters, tablets, laptops, gaming systems & more
• Sporting goods – camping gear, bicycles, hockey gear, knap-sacks, cookers, golf-clubs & more
• Jewelry/ jewellery – broaches, necklaces, rings, charms, bracelets, jewelry boxes, watches & more
• Housewares – plates, servers, cutlery
• Home décor – statues, paintings, art, vintage items, books, china, mirrors, lighting & more  
• Furniture – shelves, tables, chairs, sofas, cabinets, coffee tables, desks, dressers, bean bags, etc.
• Footwear – boots, shoes, sandals, high heels, sneakers, etc
• Bags & luggage – vintage/modern chests, purses, wallets, tote bags, computer cases & more
• Toys – board games, electronic games, puzzles, dolls, instruments, science kits, jump rope, lego, toy animals & action figures, trucks, cars, etc.
• Vintage – chests, furniture, luggage, projectors, cameras, clothes, books, sporting, pianos, guitars, housewares, vinyl records, comic books, VHS, video gaming systems, watches, etc.
• Apparel – vintage, boho, Bohemian, classic, trendy, preppy, elegant, artsy, casual, grunge, chic, eclectic, rocker, formal, ethnic, evening, hip hop, dresses, shirts, shorts, skirts, pants, hats, scarves, belts, for men, women, maternity teens, kids and babies
• Musical instruments: guitars (acoustic & electric), drum kits, trumpets, flutes, small pianos, etc

What we don’t accept:

• Food
• Automobile parts
• Mattresses
• Construction materials
• Damaged furniture
• Large appliances
• Swing sets
• Hazardous materials
  (i.e. batteries, paints, cleaning products)
• Flammable products
  (i.e. gas cans, torches, etc.)
• Infant products
  (i.e. car seats, cribs, etc.)
• Marine vessels
  (i.e. boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.)
• Animals

We thank you for your generous donations! All items received in usable and good condition are cleaned, repaired and resold. The remaining goods are sent to various recycling outlets in the area.
